Holroyd School

Holroyd School is a respected institution dedicated to delivering exceptional education and tailored support to students with diverse learning needs. Located in the heart of western Sydney, the school recently initiated a critical upgrade to ensure its facilities aligned with modern educational demands.

This project focused on the comprehensive modernization of the school’s electrical systems to improve safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability, enabling a more supportive and future-ready learning environment.

New Power Electrics (NPE) was selected to lead the ambitious electrical upgrade at Holroyd School, thanks to our extensive experience in delivering highly specialized electrical services to schools and learning facilities.

From the planning phase to full-scale implementation, we worked collaboratively with the school’s team to design and install advanced electrical systems. Our focus was on ensuring the upgraded infrastructure met the current needs of the school while allowing for seamless scalability in the future.

Despite the complexities of working within an operational school, NPE successfully minimized disruptions and maintained an unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency throughout the process.

Initial stage:

• Comprehensive review of existing electrical systems to identify critical upgrades.
• Systematic disconnection and safe removal of outdated electrical equipment.

Electrical Infrastructure:

• Installation of a new and advanced electrical supply line integrated with Holroyd School’s existing systems.
• Construction of a cutting-edge main switchboard, equipped with next-generation metering technologies.
• Development of an extensive underground cabling network to ensure reliable power distribution across campus buildings.

Lighting Systems and Power Distribution:

• Implementation of an intelligent lighting control system featuring Dynalite technology for improved efficiency and reduced energy consumption.
• Tailored power distribution to newly developed learning spaces, including specialized classrooms and therapy rooms.
• Optimization of lighting lux levels to create comfortable and effective teaching environments.

Structural Installation and Documentation:

• Installation of state-of-the-art lighting fixtures across outdoor areas, sports facilities, and classrooms, enhancing safety and usability.
• Delivery of comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical drawings, for future reference and ongoing maintenance.
