Peel Park – North Richmond

Peel Park is a multipurpose park located in the North Richmond area. The park is boarded by Redbank Creek, a popular space to take a light bushwalk and explore what the area has to offer. You will often find the oval being used for cricket games over the summer period.

As required after approvals from Hawkesbury City Council, Redbank Communities undertook upgrades at Peel Park, costing approximately $5.5 million.

NPE (New Power Electrics) was enlisted to take responsibility for the lighting design (initially prepared by Sylvania Schreder Lighting). The decision to engage NPE early on was driven by our expertise and proficiency in providing comprehensive electrical solutions.

Our scope of work encompassed the entire electrical design, extending from the primary electrical supply sources to the meticulous detailing of the electrical services, ensuring a seamless integration of various elements within the project’s electrical infrastructure.

This involved a thorough examination and optimization of the electrical components and systems to enhance efficiency and meet the specific requirements of the project.

Initial stage:

• Disconnection of the existing sports club house.

Electrical Infrastructure:

• New electrical supply connected to the electrical grid.
• External freestanding main switchboard with metering.
• Underground reticulation of conduits and pits (approximately 850m of trenching and 5km of conduit/cabling).
• Main distribution board.

Lighting Systems and Power Distribution:

• Dynalite and CloudMaster Dali Lighting control system.
• Power feed to toilet block.
• Lux level reading of lighting levels.

Structural Installation and Documentation:

• On-site assembly, erection, and installation of 5 x 25m poles, 5 x 15m poles, and 6 x 7m poles.
