Located at 1 Market Street in the Sydney CBD, this commercial project involved a coordinated program of demolition, electrical strip-out and tenancy fitout works across Levels 27, 28 and 29.

The project was delivered in three distinct stages, with each floor requiring a different construction outcome. Level 27 involved the demolition of an existing full-floor office fitout before the construction of a new spec suite tenancy. Level 28 was completely stripped back and prepared as a cold shell, while Level 29 was transformed into another modern spec suite tenancy.

Careful staging, coordination and programming were essential throughout the project to ensure each level was completed efficiently and in accordance with the overall construction schedule.

New Power Electrics was engaged to complete the commercial electrical works associated with the demolition and redevelopment of the three office levels.

Our team worked closely with the builder and other project stakeholders to coordinate the electrical strip-out, preparation and fitout requirements for each stage. Because the scope varied between floors, the works required a flexible approach and careful planning to ensure each area was prepared for its intended use.

From stripping out the existing full-floor tenancies through to supporting the construction of the new spec suite environments, our electricians maintained a strong focus on workmanship, communication and meeting the project’s critical deadlines.

The final stages required a concentrated and collaborative effort from everyone involved. The completed project was well received, with the team successfully maintaining momentum and delivering the required works within the agreed timeframe.
